Visitors are welcome here by appointment. We reserve the right to choose who may visit.
We often receive inquiries from friends of friends who hear about our program and want to know more. To ensure a good fit, we ask all new visitors first send us an email at Heartsinhandsllc@gmail.com stating their name, age, a little bit about themselves and why they are interested in visiting our farm. We will follow up with a phone interview. If you are under 18 we require your parents to confirm that they approve of your visiting our farm, and sign our waiver on your behalf.
Before arrival, you must bring a printed and signed waiver which can be found here.
For horse lessons, please come prepared with comfortable clothes and STIFF toed boots to ensure the safety of your feet. It is also a good idea to check out our blog, so that you can get a feel for what we do here! Please note, at this time, we can only provide lessons to children who are able to repeat the emergency dismount.
We welcome your interest in what we do here at Hearts in Hands Horsemanship LLC, and Cherry Plain Sanctuary Farm. If you want to enjoy 1000s of acres of beautiful wild country here in these mountains, and are looking for an outdoor adventure, please see our Hipcamp sites. We offer affordable lodging in our 22 foot tipi, lean to lodge, and campsites, all within sight of the horse herd.
Winter spring summer and fall, we are always outside doing cool things with our horses, and enjoying the great outdoors. Please dress appropriately as it gets very hot and very cold here, and it can rain snow or sleet here at anytime during the colder months.
